Reminder: This is what matters when selecting seals

By selecting an optimal static seal for a sealing point, designers bear a high level of responsibility for the effective operation of plants and systems, for compliance with laws, regulations and standards and ultimately for the protection of health and the environment. Even if many still misunderstand seals as "C-parts", they have long since developed into system-relevant components in many applications - and this development is continuing.

All the more reason to pay due attention to their selection and to understand sealing systems and all their interactions. Or, if in doubt, to call on the support of specialists.
