Diaphragms

We design and manufacture elastomer moulded diaphragms according to your needs up to a diameter of 550 mm’s.

Diaphragms are sealing components which seal two chambers hermetically, as elastically moveable partitions and whilst doing so, lead to a lifting movement that is perpendicular to the clamping surface.

They do not need any maintenance or lubrication, they are wear-free and have a long service life.
Thin-walled diaphragms operate almost frictionless without any breakaway torques.

Diaphragms are used in various technical ranges – the application determines size and design of the diaphragm.

Typical diaphragm designs are rolling diaphragms as well as crimped diaphragms, plate diaphragms, spherical diaphragms or flat gaskets.

In order to withstand higher pressures, to improve chemical resistance or achieve a longer service life, a composite diaphragm can be used for instance.

In our production process, composite diaphragms are manufactured based on individual components and they can be varied according to the customer’s need with or without:

  • fabric reinforcement,
  • foil coating and
  • plastic or metallic composite materials

We offer all common material combinations that are in compliance with UBA, FDA and DIN EN 16421 (W270).

Innovative, environmentally friendly and efficient

In addition to innovative techniques, our logistics has 2,870 sqm of process surface. We have the world's first AutoStore storage system on two levels. Both grits are connected to each other by means of special lifters. In total, up to 31,000 containers can be stored in a very confined space. Due to this subdivision, up to 240,000 storage areas can be managed most efficiently.
