Whistleblower Protection Act
The Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG), will also be mandatory for companies with 50 or more employees from 17 December 2023.
The purpose of this law is to protect whistleblowers from reprisals if they disclose grievances in companies.
We at ULMAN Dichtungstechnik GmbH, ULMAN Produktion GmbH & Co. KG and ULMAN Industriebedarf GmbH, fulfil this legal obligation by setting up an internal whistleblower system. This enables all employees and business partners to provide confidential and anonymous information regarding possible legal violations or other actions that may cause damage.
What reasons could trigger such a report?
Examples include
- Corruption or bribery
- Theft, embezzlement or fraud
- Money laundering or illegal payments
- Bullying or harassment
- Violation of competition or antitrust law
- Violation of environmental protection regulations
- Violation of accounting or bookkeeping regulations
- Violation of labour and health and safety regulations
- Violation of data protection regulations or IT security guidelines
- Other offence subject to criminal prosecution or fines

must be true.
The information required for reporting is requested step by step in the online form. It is important to note that these can be submitted both anonymously and by disclosing your personal data.
Your report will be checked internally in compliance with data protection regulations and forwarded anonymised to the relevant departments for further processing.
After submitting your report, you will receive an identification code and can set a password. You can then use this code and password to communicate with us anonymously.
