ULMAN T4337 is a high-performance gland packing, manufactured from expanded PTFE yarn with a high content of incorporated graphite. Through a special production process, the graphite is permanently embedded in the fiber structure, ensuring exceptionally clean handling. The combination of PTFE and graphite provides the packing with outstanding thermal conductivity, which effectively dissipates frictional heat from high-speed pump shafts and prevents glazing of the running surfaces.
Thanks to its high flexibility, the ULMAN T4337 is particularly gentle on shafts and spindles and offers a long service life. The packing remains dimensionally stable, exhibits only minimal shrinkage, and retains its volume even under changing operating conditions. In addition, it features excellent self-lubricating properties that reduce energy consumption and minimize wear.
Application
ULMAN T4337 can be used universally across many industries and proves especially effective in dynamic applications such as pumps, mixers, valves, and slide gates. It is resistant to a wide range of aggressive media – from strong acids and alkalis to solvents, gases, and ammonia, as well as oils, greases, hot and cold water, condensate, and steam up to approx. +280 °C. This makes it ideally suited for the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, the energy and power plant sector, refineries, and the food industry. It demonstrates particular strengths in high-speed pumps and in the gas industry.

In addition to innovative techniques, our logistics has 2,870 sqm of process surface. We have the world's first AutoStore storage system on two levels. Both grits are connected to each other by means of special lifters. In total, up to 31,000 containers can be stored in a very confined space. Due to this subdivision, up to 240,000 storage areas can be managed most efficiently.
