Our gland packings guarantee a long service life, high operational reliability and low maintenance requirements. We offer packings made from all standard technical fibres, providing a comprehensive, asbestos-free range to meet your full spectrum of requirements.

A gland packing – also simply referred to as a packing or sealing packing – serves as a dynamic seal for rotating shafts or spindles. It is used where a medium such as water, oil or a suspension needs to be contained at a housing opening, even though the shaft is rotating or the spindle is moving longitudinally.

  • High pressures, resistant to pressure spikes
  • High temperatures (no elastomers as found in mechanical seals)
  • Chemical resistance across the entire pH range of 0–14
  • Suitable for media containing solids and abrasive media
  • Our range also includes special shapes such as rectangular, lens-shaped and trapezoidal cross-sections.

Aramid

Aramid Packings - Thanks to the high strength of aramid fibre, aramid gland packs can be used even in high-pressure applications and under demanding operating conditions. The PTFE impregnation allows them to be used in rotary pumps, although their main area of application is in piston pumps.

Innovative, environmentally friendly and efficient

In addition to innovative techniques, our logistics has 2,870 sqm of process surface. We have the world's first AutoStore storage system on two levels. Both grits are connected to each other by means of special lifters. In total, up to 31,000 containers can be stored in a very confined space. Due to this subdivision, up to 240,000 storage areas can be managed most efficiently.
