Scraper

A scraper prevents the adhering dirt and dust of the rod from being drawn into hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Scrapers exist in a variety of materials; the most common ones are PTFE (with or without fillers), elastomer and polyurethane.

Scraper A6

The scraper A6 is a one-piece scraper and is available in NBR, FKM or polyurethane (TPU). Standard sizes have additional studs on the inner diameter to prevent tilting in the groove.

The scraper A6 in NBR is suitable for hydraulic and pneumatic applications, FKM is particularly suitable for applications where a higher chemical resistance is required. The A5 in TPU is for mobile hydraulics with heavy dirt or for applications particularly for wear resistance when needed. Standard sizes have additional studs on the inner diameter to safeguard the function.

The scraper A6 has a material hardness of 90 to 95 Shore A.
