The UZ bonded seal consist of a metallic ring with a molded, trapezoidal seal made of elastomer and with a centering embossment for a safe automatic assembly.
By tightening the screw, the elastic sealing lip gets pressed between the two flat surfaces. The compression of elastomer is limited to the strength of the metal ring.
As soon as pressure applies, the sealing effect is additionally increased. In addition to the standard elastomers, such as NBR, EPDM and FKM, different steel qualities are available such as standard steel (1.0330 galvanised) and stainless steel (1.4301).

Both grits are connected to each other by means of special lifters. In total, up to 31,000 containers can be stored in a very confined space. Due to this subdivision, up to 240,000 storage areas can be managed most efficiently.
