Gland Packing Ramie-Packing T4424

ULMAN T4424, braided from natural ramie yarn and impregnated with PTFE and oil, is a cost-efficient packing that, despite a temperature range of up to approx. 140 °C, can be used in a wide variety of applications.
The material combination provides a balanced mix of flexibility and stability. Its pliable structure ensures optimal adaptation to shafts, valve stems, and spindles, while the robustness of the ramie fiber guarantees long service life even under demanding conditions.

Application
The packing is particularly suitable for pumps handling hot or cold water and also demonstrates excellent performance in sandy and fibrous media, such as in hydromechanics and the pulp and paper industry. It is also highly suitable for seawater applications and is therefore frequently used in shipbuilding and dockyard
operations. Its high resistance additionally allows for reliable operation in media with comparatively high working pressures.
