ULMAN T4901 is braided from pure PTFE yarn and reinforced with aramid yarn at the corners. In addition, the packing is impregnated with a lubricant. The aramid corner reinforcement enhances the universal properties, enabling its use under very high pressure, especially in piston pumps.
Application
The packing is suitable for sealing pumps, valves, and sliders. It is used in a wide range of chemically aggressive media as well as in water and steam up to 280 °C. Typical fields of application include installations and equipment in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, oil refining, and the food industry, as well as in chemical departments of the power supply industry, metallurgy, and the pulp and paper industry. The packing has also proven particularly effective in the sugar industry, in malt houses, and in lime works.

Both grits are connected to each other by means of special lifters. In total, up to 31,000 containers can be stored in a very confined space. Due to this subdivision, up to 240,000 storage areas can be managed most efficiently.
