T4938

Gland Packing PTFE-Packing T4938

ULMAN T4938 , like the T4337, is manufactured from PTFE yarn with a high graphite content and a special lubricant impregnation. In addition, the edges are reinforced with aramid yarn, which allows its use under very high pressures, particularly in piston pumps. The packing has a compact cross-section and a robust structure. A key advantage is its high resistance to splitting and wear, ensured by the aramid-reinforced edges. At the same time, the aramid edges reliably protect against mechanical stress caused by abrasive media.

Application
T4938 is used for sealing pumps, valves, and slide gates. It can be applied universally within a temperature range of up to approx. +280 °C and provides reliable sealing both in a wide variety of chemically aggressive media as well as in water and steam.

Innovative, environmentally friendly and efficient

In addition to innovative techniques, our logistics has 2,870 sqm of process surface. We have the world's first AutoStore storage system on two levels. Both grits are connected to each other by means of special lifters. In total, up to 31,000 containers can be stored in a very confined space. Due to this subdivision, up to 240,000 storage areas can be managed most efficiently.
