ULMAN sets an example: since 1 January 2026, we have been using 100% green electricity.

Sustainability begins with decisions made today – and takes effect tomorrow. That is why ULMAN has completely switched its energy supply to green electricity from renewable sources since 1 January 2026.

This decision goes far beyond a symbolic gesture; it is an active contribution to the energy transition – and a promise for the future.

Why green electricity has a greater impact than many people think:

When we use green electricity, the electricity flowing from our sockets comes from hydroelectric, wind or solar power plants, at least in mathematical terms. In reality, electricity from various sources is fed into the public grid – including conventional power plants such as coal, gas or nuclear power plants. This means that the electricity mix is not yet purely green.

But that is precisely why every single decision to use green electricity counts.

Because the more people and companies opt for green electricity, the greater its share of the overall mix becomes.

The demand for electricity from renewable energies promotes the expansion of corresponding plants.

At the same time, the demand for electricity from fossil sources decreases – an important step towards climate neutrality.
