From a regional O-ring sales company to a worldwide acting company in sealing technology.
1970 was an eventful year in which the today internationally operating ULMAN Dichtungstechnik GmbH was founded. The successful path from a regional medium-sized O-ring dealer to an international supplier of precision seals and solutions began on October 21st, 1970. Over the decades, from the simple sealing application with an O-ring, the company has developed an extensive delivery program for numerous applications in the static and dynamic sealing technology.
Not only that, ULMAN Dichtungstechnik GmbH has faced many challenges of the market and so led a customer inquiry to the establishment of an own production in 1987, at that time under the name MET, today's ULMAN Produktion GmbH & Co.KG. For decades, the company has been developing and manufacturing fabric-reinforced elastomer molded diaphragms, PTFE composite diaphragms and other products according to special customer requirements. Due to numerous product and material developments in our own test series and test facilities made it possible for us that ULMAN today can show internationally patented developments and is a constantly growing and successful company over the years.
This was not the case from the very beginning. The breakthrough to a steadily growing company came with the change of the family-run company to an international corporation on January 1, 1998. As a strong partner, ULMAN supplies numerous customers today, among others in the automotive industry, electrical engineering, plant and mechanical engineering, sanitary industry and many other industries.
Continuous and healthy growth of ULMAN, created the prerequisites for the purchase of the company Titan in Vienna in the year 2000. As a result, the delivery program in the group expanded, with applications in plant engineering and the chemical industry. Today the ULMAN Group is a partner of the industry which develops high-precision sealing solutions and delivers them worldwide.
Highly motivated and committed employees * ensure the success of our company every day. A success that was crowned in 2018 with the relocation into a state-of-the-art building. This is the first two-storey Autostore system worldwide, with a fire prevention system that is new in this sector. This unique logistical concept enables us to implement logistical processes and customer-specific requirements in the fastest way and at a high level, thus achieving the highest level of customer satisfaction.
We are always up to date with customized solutions in various areas, such as development and construction corporate with our customers, in sales and customer service, in purchasing and procurement, in production and quality processes, with our diverse logistical possibilities, and last but not least with our IT environment.
